A couple of years ago I posted how I used tumblers and plastic media to sand beads. I am always looking for ways to make sanding easier on my body. I have use 3M Radial Disks on a Dremel with a flex shaft to sand smaller pieces. And then I finish by buffing with cotton or muslin buffs also mounted on the Dremel’s flex shaft. I find that I have better control when sanding and buffing smaller pieces and those that are shaped in a way to make sanding with paper more difficult. I really love them on pieces that have been antiqued since you can get into the crevices more easily. I like them so much that I have compiled some kits that are ready to use and put them on my Etsy site: https://etsy.me/3akzlba

I have worked with polymer clay for over 18 years. My work has been featured in books and magazines. I have won national and international awards for my pieces. I sell my work at local Fine Craft Shows, in a few Vermont Galleries, Breweries & Home Brew Shops in several states, and on Etsy. I love polymer clay as a medium because it can be used in so many ways.I love experimenting with its properties and the various ways it can be used to create all types of artful and functional pieces.
